SATEL radio modems
are generally connected with a flexible coaxial cable (pigtail)
made from RG-58/U, LMR-195 or LMR-200 cabling. The pigtail has
a TNC Male connector at one end for direct connection to SATEL
radio modems and an N Male connector on the other end for conenction
to lightning protection. A semi-rigid cable with N Male connectors
is generally used to connect the antenna depending on the installation
type.
SATEL USA recommends using high quality cables such as those from
the manufacturers Belden and Times Microwave with soldered connectors and
gold pins.
Adapters are available in any combination
of connector types. Cables are made to specification with
any length, cable and connector type. Please contact us for specific
part numbers. |
